--------------------------------

The LAPLACE Astrobiology Journal Club has been initiated by Profs. M. Meyer and N. Woolf in 2004 to provide a forum for the discussion of astrobiology-related research and review articles. The journal club quickly became popular and currently about 10 - 20 people, from undergraduate students through postdocs to regents professors, visit regularly our weekly meetings. Most  of the meetings are hosted by the Steward Observatory, but the journal club plans meetings at other departmens, too. The club is currently organized by Prof. N. Woolf and Dr. D. Apai.

Astrobiology Lunches: On the last Friday (12-1pm) of every month we have a very informal lunch together discussing astrobiology-related topics; the lunches are sponsored by LAPLACE.

Credit: On the condition of regular attendance and at least one presentation a credit can be requested.

If you are interested in astrobiology do not hesitate to join us our discussions!
